Mortgage for Non Permanent Resident & Foreign Nationals

Mortgage for Non Permanent Resident & Foreign Nationals

I HAVE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF QUESTIONS LATELY ON NON-PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIENS AND FOREIGN NATIONALS PERTAINING TO BEING ABLE TO OBTAIN A MORTGAGE IN THE US. THE FACT IS THAT BOTH IMMIGRANT STATUSES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A MORTGAGE.

AS A NON-PERMANENT RESIDENT, YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR AN FHA OR CONVENTIONAL LOAN PROGRAM LIKE INDIVIDUALS WITH PERMANENT RESIDENCY CARDS OR US CITIZENS. IF YOU HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD ALONG WITH AN EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD IS WHAT IS REQUIRED IN MOST CASES. WHICH MEANS THAT YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO PUT AS LITTLE AS 3.5% DOWN PAYMENT FOR FHA AND 3% FOR A CONVENTIONAL PROGRAM FOR A FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER THAT WILL OCCUPY THE PROPERTY.

WITH A FOREIGN NATIONAL, THIS WOULD BE SOMEONE WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF DOCUMENTATION ALLOWING THEM TO WORK OR LIVE PERMANENTLY IN THE US AND/OR WITHOUT A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD. WE CAN STILL HELP THESE INDIVIDUALS BY OFFERING THEM A PRIVATE MORTGAGE WITH USUALLY A 40% DOWN PAYMENT. BOKK AN APPOINTMENT HERE.
